The moment that Genesis fans have been waiting 15 years for,
finally arrived, as Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford
reunited for Turn It On Again - the tour. Greeted by Phil Collins
in German, "Vie Sind Genesis", a capacity audience
of 48,000 in Hamburg's AOL Arena rocked the night away as Genesis
powered their way through a set that spanned this iconic band's
incredible repertoire.
The sheer scale of the set for Turn It On Again-the
tour is hugely impressive and a visual feast for fans, with
the largest screen ever used at a concert spanning 64 metres.
The set is designed by world famous Mark Fisher and the spectacular
lighting show, the work of genius Patrick Woodroffe. Patrick
commented: "Genesis have a long history of putting on ground-breaking
light shows, and they have set the bar very high in the past.
We hope that our team has risen to the occasion, and that this
year's offering to the fans will continue the high standard
of innovation and spectacle, to which they have become accustomed."
Over 1 million fans will get the chance to see
the limited run of 22 concerts as the band travels to all the
biggest stadiums across Europe taking in Finland, Denmark, Switzerland,
Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, France, Holland, UK
and Italy, with the final concert in Rome on 14 July.
Genesis also has plans to tour Canada & USA
starting August.
